Spray Coating

Soft Diamond S90/90 is a solvent-free spray system that combines all the outstanding properties of polyurethane elastomers.

Spraying enables mold-free coating of complex parts, even on-site without dismantling any structures. The spray application is fast, thereby shortening downtime and minimizing production losses.

The spray imparts to the product high tensile and tear strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and flexibility at low temperatures. Other notable properties of the spray material include fatigue resistance and sound insulation.

Applications

Applications for Soft Diamond include funnels, cyclones, screen meshes, pools, belts, pump chambers, pipeworks, vibration grinding bowls, mining machinery, etc.

Vibratory Bowls

Applicators exposed to severe mechanical wear such as vibratory bowls can be lined with the S90/90 polyurethane coating. The coating can be concentrated more heavily on the areas that experience the greatest wear. During recoating, a repair layer can be applied directly over the existing S90/90 coating, saving both time and money.

If the bowl already has, for example, a rubber lining, we remove the old coating completely and reline it with durable Soft Diamond polyurethane.
